These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Worn by Water website.

Returning / Refunding an Item

If you wish to return an item purchased from us, please contact us by email or telephone before sending the item back.

For a full refund, items must be returned within 14 days of receipt, unworn and in pristine condition, together with all original packaging and proof of purchase.

Please note that personalised, customised or specially made items may not be eligible for return unless they are defective.

About Returns

• We cannot accept returns of pierced earrings for hygiene reasons, unless the item is defective.
• Items that have been worn or show signs of wear cannot normally be accepted as a return, unless the item is defective.
• Items must be returned with their original packaging where applicable.
• We recommend using a tracked or registered postal service when returning an item, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Warranty

All items sold by Worn by Water are covered by applicable consumer protection laws and, where applicable, our limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

Our jewellery is made to a high standard. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or damage occurring after delivery is not covered by our warranty.

Any repairs, alterations or other work carried out by a third party may invalidate any applicable warranty.

If you notice that a stone or other component of your jewellery has become loose or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can advise you accordingly.

We strongly recommend that you insure valuable jewellery through your home insurance or a suitable specialist insurer. Loss or theft of an item is not normally covered by our warranty.

Prices

All items are charged at the price displayed on the website at the time your order is placed.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and confirmed.

Ordering

Once we receive your online order, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order.

If you do not receive an order confirmation within three working days, please contact us using the details below.

We reserve the right to contact you if there is an issue with your order, including availability, sizing, personalisation or other special requirements.

Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include:

Payment information is processed securely through our payment service providers. We do not store your full credit or debit card details on our own systems.

Shipping

Orders will normally be dispatched via Registered Post.

We aim to dispatch orders within 4–7 working days, depending on sizing, special instructions, availability and any other requirements relating to the order.

If we are unable to dispatch your order within our standard delivery timeframe, we will contact you to discuss the delay and advise you of the best available options.

We offer free shipping within the Republic of Ireland.

A signature may be required upon delivery. If you require an alternative delivery method, please contact us before placing your order so that we can advise you of the available options and any additional charges.

Quality & Product Information

We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, measurements and other information displayed on our website are as accurate as reasonably possible.

As many of our pieces may be handmade or individually finished, slight variations in appearance, colour, texture or measurements may occur. These variations are not necessarily considered defects.
